Μια πρώτη ανακούφιση από το επερχόμενο…Εφετείο, τα Οσκαρ δηλαδή, πήρε η γερμανική ταινία «ΟΥΔΕΝ ΝΕΩΤΕΡΟΝ ΑΠΟ ΤΟ ΔΥΤΙΚΟΝ ΜΕΤΩΠΟΝ» που παίρνει το πρώτο ουσιαστικό της βραβείο, του ΣΕΝΑΡΙΟΥ ΕΚ ΔΙΑΣΚΕΥΗΣ, που της το παραχωρούν Αμερικανοί θεωρητικοί, δημοσιογράφοι και κριτικοί, κάτι που η Ευρώπη, της Ευρωπαϊκης Ακαδημίας Κινηματογράφου της το απαρνήθηκε κάθετα. Ούτε η Ισπανική Ακαδημία, που ανακοίνωσε τις υποψηφιότητες της, το έχει συμπεριλαβει στις λίστες της…

Τέλος, κάνει την είσοδο στα βραβεία της ΔΙΕΘΝΟΥΣ ΤΑΙΝΙΑΣ, η εκ ΒΕΛΓΙΟΥ υπέροχη «CLOSE», η οποία είναι υποψήφια σε όλες τις μεγαλες κατηγορίες στα Ευρωπαϊκα και θεωρείται από πολλούς κρυφό χαρτί του Διεθνούς Οσκαρ

Στους ηθοποιούς, ο ΚΟΛΙΝ ΦΑΡΕΛ εξακολουθεί να δρέπει, από κριτικούς εννοείται ενώ στις γυναίκες η Κέητ Μπλάνσετ των Νεουροκέζων εδώ βρίσκει την επίσημη αντίπαλο ΜΙΣΕΛ ΓΙΕΟ.
